Maya's experience with yoga derived from a combined 13 years of dance/cheer training,
gaining a love and interest for movement and anatomy, and possibly her mother's influence...
Yoga has helped bring balance to her busy schedule and training regimen, as she has grown to love specifically meditation for it's calming benefits. Certifications include RYT 200 hr, SUP Yoga & Aerial Yoga. She has led health/nutrition workshops at schools and in studio for Teens, after becoming passionate about her own wellness, and founded the WHS Yoga Club, which UY&W sponsors, providing free yoga to students.
Spending the summer in Moab working for a river company, then off to college, we'll miss her around here, when she's not teaching/front desk on occasion.
